Privacy Policy
Player Profiler is a behavior-based digital report tool.
Stored locally
Quiz answers may be stored in your browser (localStorage) so the quiz/report flow can continue; you can clear this anytime.
Cookies
After a successful payment, a cookie is set in your browser to unlock the paid report. It expires automatically (within 48 hours) and is not readable by scripts on any page. It includes a reference to your Checkout Session and, if Stripe collected one, the email you checked out with — used only to save and, later, help match your report to an account, never for tracking or advertising.
Analytics
Basic anonymous analytics (page views, funnel steps) may be collected to improve the product. No advertising trackers.
Payments
All payment information is processed and stored directly by Stripe. Player Profiler never sees or stores your full card details — we do not store any payment card information ourselves.
Membership
If you subscribe to the $19/month membership, we store your subscription status (such as active or canceled), your current billing period, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers tied to your account. This is used only to determine report access and to support billing management through Stripe's own portal — never for tracking or advertising.
Accounts
An account is optional and is never required to buy or receive a report. Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email (no password). Once signed in with the same email used at checkout, your purchased reports become visible in "My Reports," where you can rename or permanently delete them.
Reports
Generated from the answers you provide. Unlike an earlier version of this product, saving is not optional and not a separate step: a paid report is saved automatically, on our server, as soon as payment succeeds and the report is generated — including the free and paid answers behind it. You don't need to click anything for this to happen.
The email address you supply to Stripe during checkout is stored alongside that report, specifically so it can later be matched to an account. If you go on to sign in with that same email (one-time code, no password), the system verifies you actually control that mailbox before attaching any of those reports to your account — an email alone, without completing that verification, is never enough to gain access.
Every saved report is also reachable through its own private link (a random, unguessable id plus a token). Anyone with that exact link can open the report; treat it like you would any other private link. A report remains reachable this way whether or not it's ever attached to an account.
If you sign in and a report is attached to your account, you can rename it or permanently delete it from "My Reports." Deleting a report removes it from your account and immediately invalidates its private link — the link stops working the moment the report is deleted, and this cannot be undone through the app itself.
You can also request deletion of any saved report — attached to an account or not — at any time. Submit privacy requests through the contact form and choose "Privacy request." Deleted data may still exist temporarily in routine backups until those backups themselves expire; we don't guarantee permanent storage or permanent availability of any report.
Other people
Do not enter sensitive personal information about another person; the tool is based on observed behavior only.
